Early Life
Adedamola Oyinlola Adefolahan, better known as Fireboy DML, was born on February 5, 1996, in Abeokuta, Ogun state, Nigeria. His musical journey started in his church choir, where he first began exploring his passion. While studying English at Obafemi Awolowo University, Fireboy’s love for music deepened, eventually inspiring him to move to Lagos to pursue a full-time music career.
Breaking Out with "Jealous"
In 2018, Fireboy gained attention with his breakout single, "Jealous." The song, a unique blend of African harmonies with country and soul elements, became an instant hit.
